Kudos to Cousins

Cousins has 25 career games with 300+ passing yards and 3+ TD passes, surpassing Aaron Rodgers for the 2nd-most ever by a QB in his 1st 10 seasons. Only @ProFootballHOF Dan Marino (26 games) has more. pic.twitter.com/cs528uixwY
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it. — Robin Williams
KC had a chance to wither after that Rogers to Scandling pass, he and the offense didnt.
Considering that KC was pummeled for much of the game, I'd have to call today one of his best.
The near-INTs weren't pretty, but they also come with the territory when opening up the passing game...just ask Patrick Mahomes.
The heart of the offense has shifted from Cook to KC/JJ, with Thielen remaining the constant potential game-breaker.
The defense was ugly much of today, but our offensive skill players got plays executed. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Zim gave Kirk an extra day off to recuperate in his oxygen-chamber-thingy.
He played one of his best games as a Viking, some of his passes weren't sharp, but he did a really great job of getting rid of the ball and making quicker decisions. Was good to see us passing more on 1st and 2nd down and not just run it the first two downs. That is what won us the game and is also what finally opened up the run game. Jefferson can't be covered and if they try to double team him, that leaves Thielen and Osborne open.
And Cousins didn't start his first 2 1/2 seasons.
We all know what Kirk's deficiencies are. But give the guy time and he'll usually cut up the opponent.
He played aggressively and the team was rewarded. Yep, got lucky that a big pass wasn't intercepted, but get in line with the other NFL QBs who catch lucky breaks on passes. Happens every game. That pass on the winning drive to Thielen was a perfect example of him being aggressive. It was the difference in the game.
I just saw a tweet, saying that PFF has us 2nd in passing...but worst in blocking.
WORST.
I'd say that Cousins makes a better argument for his much-lambasted contract than Barr or Pierce, some others....
Just how good is Cousins? 2nd highest passer rating in the NFL (PFF), while working behind the NFL's worst graded pass blocking OL.
Gotta give him credit, he's playing well. If the line can give him protection, he's downright dangerous.
I’m pretty much done with Kirk because he turtled so bad in the Cleveland and Dallas game but heck if he hasn’t played great these past 2 weeks. Cap tip!!!
Just when I thought I was out…
Many have talked about how they felt Cousins has turned things around after a rough week 6 last season. In all honesty life got in the way last year and I missed much of the second half of last season. But I continue to read this comment and it got me wondering so I thought looked to into the validity. This time span makes up 20 games here is what Kurt did as well as the defense/offense.
