Every week we watch this limp dick coach

Darrisaw got beat bad a couple times but he made a few wow plays too.

Wasnt bad, but dont ever ever ever run a pitch to ham on 3rd and 1 again. That playcall needs to be publicly burned

Well, I'm not shy about criticizing Zim, but we've visibly opened up the passing game for at least two weeks, and we just won, not lost, against a favored division-leading opponent.
That seems different than the AZ, CIN, and DA games to me.
I know that you're determinedly portraying a sour old hag, nowadays, but I think you kinda blew the call, here.
Last 4 Packer offensive possessions, 4 Packer touchdowns. Vikings won with the offense and a little luck on the 2 almost-picks. Xavier Woods was brutal.
@"Bullazin" said:This was the first time playing the Packers when I felt the calls were pretty even handed. We got our share of bad calls, non-calls, etc, but they had a few as well.@"StickyBun" said: Minnesota just could not generate a pass rush, that's the only reason Green Bay was in this game. The timeout call that wasn't by Rodgers was such horseshit. Otherwise, Minnesota certainly benefited from the officiating for once. I try not to be a homer, but i thought the officiating was really good and fair today.
@"Wetlander" said: So much complaining after a win lolYeah. I'll say this and I can't remember when I felt this way: I really thought Cousins was going to drive down the field and win it at the end.

We won! I was shocked this didn’t end up like a lot of other games this season. It was certainly shaping up that way but the dropped INT on the last drive was a gift, and Kirk and the Vikes took advantage. Awesome to see.
Glad Joseph made that kick at the end too. It was short but it’s us so, I was nervous.
Thoughts and prayers to Aaron Rodgers and the Fox programming director who felt that showing closeups on Rodgers face for 85% of the broadcast was the most important thing of the afternoon: I’m sorry you lost.

Zimmer makes a balsy call to avoid giving the ball back to Rodgers at the end of the game. Yup, limp dick right there. Score 34 points on the #1 D in the NFL? Yeah, he is obviously holding the offense back.Rodgers and the Pack adjusted at halftime and Zimmer didn't have an answer, but many teams don't against them. He is a perennial MVP candidate.
Oh please we went into a shell at 16-3. And then when shit startrd going pear shaped AGAIN he opened up the offense. This os what we have been doing all year and yeah, it worked out today. But for so many reasons that we have already witnessed this year it very well could have ended up very differently.
A win is a win and we take it but today was once again more of the same.
@"Wetlander" said: So much complaining after a win loli hear ya Wet. You are prolly the most patient poster here (PF maybe)? Have you been here lately? lol. About 90% of the board has called for Zim’s ouster including myself after the needless Dallas loss and its hard to blame us.
Now its possible Zim pulls a Genie out of his ass and not only keeps the gas pedal down, but also gets a break here and there that good teams seem to generate, and gets us into the dance playing well. If that happens I will be surprised and very pleased. He has certainly broke tendency the last 2 games in his level of conservancy.
Its game to game now. The Viking's season will continue to be a roller coaster and next week the board could be ready to crucify, myself included. But I can also give credit where it is due. Cousins was noticeably more aggressive as a QB on Sunday, like the elite guys are. The Vikings won that game really without a pass rush, the only pressure came after Rodgers had 5 seconds to pass but nowhere to go. The Packers are a good team and Minnesota was legitimately better in this game.

All NFL games are a series of matchups and adjustments, but at some point (usually in the 2nd quarter) you sort of get a sense for which is the better team. And in this game, it was definitely the Vikings. That's been true in so many games this year, only to watch the Vikings lose their grip and either lose the game or win it on the last play. It's frustrating.
The Vikings STILL haven't put together a complete game. Has Dalvin had a gain of over 20 yards this year? I think he had 3 in the Packer game alone last season. Maybe we'll get Michael Pierce back and all this will start to come together down the stretch.

The lack of pass rush is going to haunt Minnesota down the stretch. Otherwise, I agree with you. And when I say give credit to where it due, I mean Zimmer not Cousins. I been blowing Cousins' horn all year (ok....that didn't sound good).
