I hope he wins
The double standards and other shit that Goodell and the league continually pulls when it comes to about everything needs to get called out and cost them.
Goodell is a jackass, but Gruden claiming the emails were deliberately leaked to get him fired is ridiculous. No way did the NFL want that kind of publicity just when most people had stopped thinking about the WFT mess.

We may not known or understand the why, but those email were intentionally leaked by the NFL to target gruden which imo gives him a case. Maybe his emails were the sacrificial lamb offered up to keep the reporter off of a bigger story?

Exactly the way I thought when the whole email thing broke ....there is a much bigger issue involving the league and ownership. If I remember correctly, the "Leak" started earlier and the Ownerships consigliere Goodbidding, I mean Goodell, expected Al Davis to do something drastic to Gruden. Then when Davis didn't react - the way Goodell wanted - all of a sudden more leaks....hmmm.I expect Davis to sue as well.

But I am sure the Owners/League/Goodell will do their very best to portray it that way through every means possible including PR and endless mountains of money to protect the image! Might even be more diversion leaks the closer to the truth Gruden's suit gets. IMO there is a much bigger story beyond Gruden acting like every football coach I ever had - which was only 2:) - switched to basketball :)
Nuisance lawsuit may refer to:
- A suit of the tort of nuisance, i.e. the plaintiff claims the defendant is causing a nuisance to the plaintiff
- A frivolous lawsuit, i.e. by bringing the suit, the plaintiff is causing a nuisance to the defendant
My guess is Grudens legal team looking into this matter, some things that don't have anything to do with Gruden are gonna be found out.
No way Goodell wants a lawyer putting out subpoenas and sniffing around i NFL HQ.
And this whole thing never made sense with how it went down.

I really do. Time will tell. Gruden has nothing imho. He just wants to try to repair his shit reputation.
I don’t care if this was a buddy to buddy string of emails, Gruden showed he is garbage when the first email came out and he made up the bogus excuse that he was still a good guy, and then a bunch more emails came out and confirmed he consistently acted like a POS.
There is no denying that he acted like trash. There may be others that come out, but that doesn’t mean Gruden shouldn’t be ousted.

If every racial slur user got fired in the NFL, how many players and coaches would be left?
I'm not condoning what he said, but for the league to suddenly decide, in this one instance, that its a fireable act and stop with 1 firing, imo he's got a case. Even in a right to work state, employment actions have to be evenly applied.
