Very interesting
Vikings-Ravens is always a bellwether event for the Vikings.

They're 3-3 all-time against Baltimore.
In the three seasons they beat BAL, they went to the NFC Championship. In the three seasons they lost, the head coach got fired.

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it. — Robin Williams
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say we are not going to the NFC Championship so.......
...though Denny already had been fired the week before they played in Baltimore in 2001 (which was the last game of the season in Jan. 2002 after their original week 2 matchup got cancelled following the 9/11 attacks).
But for the sake of the analogies I'll take it ;)
Edit: Ticey's first game...oh well, without looking it up, I think it was a pretty ugly loss...3-19 IIRC...with Spergon Wynn starting? I may be wrong there, though...but it definitely was a prime time game: reigning Super Bowl champion vs. NFC Championship participant.
