Vikes to get a Dakless Dallas?
I know what they've all said. "He's fine. "I'm fine." Whatever. Never trust what you hear from teams about injuries.
Ask Michael Gallup about calf strains. He hasn't played since week 1 with the same injury. Sure, QB is different than WR and it's unlikely Dak will miss anywhere near as many games, but still, if they had a game this weekend, he almost certainly would not be playing. So I think the following week he could be listed as questionable. Maybe even a game time decision.
But would we be better off if Dak plays? Cowboys backup is Cooper Rush, a ridiculous downgrade from Dak, but danged if Zimmer-led defenses don't always struggle against QBs they have no film on.

Fact of the matter is, you NEVER want to lose to the Cowboys. I don't care if Quincey Carter is QB'ing for them. Just beat them so we can get a W as well as not have to listen to those God awful Cowboy fans.
This is a much more important conference game than Brownies or Bengals...
5 North games remaining too.
The games are on the schedule to make a lot of noise.

If Minnesota can beat Dallas, it will go a long way to get the fanbase firmly back on the bandwagon.
Cowboys keep insisting he's fine. Players keep saying he looks like Dak. No noticeable limp. But here's the thing I keep coming back to: you can't drug it, you can't tape it. You can't protect it at all. Like a hammy, it's just something that has to heal before you put any game-like stress on it. I think he sits.
Still, I don't think it matters much. No doubt the Cowboys are a better team with Dak, but the Vikings have no film on Rush and their history against backup QBs is frightful.
Vegas knows, Vegas always knows. The spread has moved a lot and it isn't because all the money is on Minnesota...

Yup, Vegas is amazing over the decades...
They truly do always know.
I'm expecting Dak to play and I'm picking the Vikes to win it with a game ending FG.Vikings: 27Pokes: 24
His comment about this not being about 1 game is telling. They have greater aspirations this year and won't risk it for one game.

That was a completely different team. Of the 11 players who started on defense against the Cowboys, only 2 remain. And despite starting below-league average players like Odenigbo, Jaleel, Stephen, Holmes, Troy Dye and Chris Jones, Dallas still needed a last minute drive to win. That said, the Cowboys are a much better team as well. They have Tyron Smith back at LT and their defense is a lot better. If Dak plays, I have no doubt this will be another one down to the wire.

Dallas conceded the game essentially. And we still lost.
