Please for the love of god put him out to pasture

I see it clearly this year. The NFL is not setup for defenses to hold ground. Its set up to kill with offense. Z is a dinosaur. 

I am so tired and frustrated with his nonsense. Sitting on leads. Running like it's 1995. Get him out of here. Time to move forward to a modern offense and coach.

The NFL has set the game up so that it is more like fast break basketball.   A team moves from it’s own end zone to the other end of the field in nothing flat.  It’s not just this game either.  Scoring 60 yard field goals?  The game is all about offense.

makes yoi wonder, with offenses havimg such a great advantage, should 1st downs be 12-15 yards? 

We'd all be talking about that 4th & 10 the D gave-up from the end zone if they found a way to lose today.

No doubt this is an offense 1st league.

We have the horses on O (I think) but as Wetlander posted, the big knockers need to be more consistent in making plays.

But it’s so obvious our conservative offense is holding this team back that it’s painful. 

Dalvin is hurt. We gave him 30+ touches today! On a day when Thielen was on fire and JJ and KJO and even Conklin were looking great. Plus Mattison exists. It’s just dumb. “But it worked!” Yes I know. But jamming a square peg into a round hole is a helluva lot harder than using a round peg. That’s my problem with Mike Zimmer in 2021. 

The Vikings right now are the definition of insanity -- they keep doing the same thing expecting a different result.

Not a fan of chasing points in the first half. Going for 2 instead of kicking the XP could have cost the game.

you get a shot at 2 from the 1 yard line I take that chance every time.  The play call sucked,  but I think you always go for 2 when you are given half the distance by penalty and have the momentum...now the refs fiddle fucked around and chilled the momentum,  but I still think Zim made the right call at the time.
