Gruden is out
Source: Jon Gruden just informed his staff that he plans to resign as #Raiders coach.

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it. — Robin Williams
You reap what you sow. I feel bad for him. Not for losing his job but because in this day and age and with all that we have gone through, there are still people like him who think their opinions, beliefs and ways are superior than everyone else largely based on what they look like
ESPN talking about how the Raiders organization handles Jon Gruden’s behavior while he was an ESPN employee is wild

Gruden: How is that "Spider 2Y Banana" play coming along?
Dan Snyder
Deshaun Watson
Urban Meyer
This story isn't over.
Also fascinating: How quickly the Gruden emails have become public, while the all aspects of the league’s investigation into Dan Snyder have remained completely private.

Lesson for everyone in the difference between the people who cash the checks, and those who write them.
But it is okay to tell an entire fan base to put your johnson in their mouth and foff?
So Gruden called the commissioner of football a “clueless anti-football p———y”
pretty much sums it up nicely, and honestly pretty mild compared fo what most people think of Goodell
So how come this took years to come out? These were emails to Bruce Allen? How did they just suddenly appear in the New York Times? Allen should’ve turned Gruden’s ass in years ago, so the many years delay is very odd and very f****ed up, if you ask me.

It's all out there. Think about it, 10 year old emails show up, but handed computer hard drives the brightest in the business cant find shit on certain people? Its not what gets said...its who says it and who benefits or loses from it becoming public.

How about emails Allen sent to Gruden? We are yet to see any. But the NFL will tell us there is nothing to see here Lastly, like you said what has happened to Allen? Oh let me guess... "the investigation is still on going"
The NFL does not intend to publicly release any written materials related to the investigation into the Washington Football Team, per @MarkMaske.

So an 11-month investigation involving hundreds of witnesses and 650,000+ emails led us to Jon Gruden's awful emails. Nothing on WSH.

How sanctimonious of Tampa, a team that employs / employed the likes of Antonio Brown, Richard Sherman, Warren Sapp, Keyshawn Johnson et. al.
The Bucs removed Jon Gruden from their Ring of Honor, saying "his actions go against our core values." So how do you reconcile Warren Sapp in the same Ring? Or the signing of Antonio Brown and Richard Sherman? On trying to understand the Bucs' standards: https://t.co/roDNe7eGhR

Team owners are untouchable. Hey they are Billionaires and we all know the more money you have/make the less likely you are to be a racist, misogynistic, or homophobic.
The funny thing is I was never a fan of Chuckies act. His record showed an average coach at best who was famous for his grin.

Yep. He was always enormously overrated as a coach. What's really funny is that Raiders gave him a bazillion dollars, too. And then married him to the most overrated draft scout in Mayock.
Eh, I think if you went through the hall of fame, and started
removing people that said shit like this, there wouldn’t be much left. I think we can probably say with certainty,
that every team has within recent memory kept a piece of shit person on staff
or on roster because the performance was worth it. These aren’t just guys who used bad words
that made people feel bad, but guys who beat up women, raped women, beat kids, routinely
get in fights, murdered people, hosted dog fighting rings, stabbed teammate in
the neck with a scissors (just had to throw that in), etc.
I’m all for removing unsavory guys that make for unpleasant or
dangerous working conditions. I don’t
support this selective nonsense, where he just badmouthed people in power and
they got rid of him for it and pretended like they actually cared about any actual
cause. These people routinely employ
much worse people as long as they can get away with it, so until we see a massive
housecleaning, I’m not feeling like much progress is made.
