I'd trade KC and 2 1sts for Russell Wilson
Give me a proven winner, a guy who can run and throw, and who has made a career out of off schedule plays when his pass pro wasn't there.
It's a nice thought but Russell isn't going anywhere.
wishful thinking....but totally worth it.
what is Wilson like 6 & 0 against us?
Its just a lot easier drafting your own guy. Now when I see 'easy', I don't mean its easy to do.....its just so much better from a compensation standpoint and doesn't gut you're progression as a team giving up so much draft capital. And why would Seattle do it?
Yep. How come no love for Cousins getting the team down the field for the game tying FG? Or the drive in overtime in Bengals territory before the Cook 'fumble'?? Its just agenda-driven with some fans. I get it, we're all frustrated with the Vikings over time. Its cumulative. So we blow our stacks and overreact with a frustrating loss, bringing years of angst into the now.

So I just watched the highlights. Vikings had a 1st and 10 at the Bengals 37 when Dalvin "fumbled." And if you look at that play, if Dalvin had simply run outside of Ham's block instead of inside, he probably goes for 10 or 12 if not the house. He had one man to beat. The curse is alive and well.
It was good that they were able to get down the field. He deserves credit for that. It is also important to acknowledge the earlier misses. He is not high on the blame chart for this game but it's a team sport so he does get some of it.

The last time we had a relatively mobile QB, we went to the championship game. The guy before that who was relatively mobile? Missed kick from the divisional round in the playoffs the year they won a division crown. The other QB's, statues who wowed us occasionally with their arm but didn't have the extra gear to be a real winner (Bradford, Cousins)
A mobile QB makes up for young or ineffective OLs, makes plays happen when they break down, and extend drives. Our QB needs everything right to be effective and we have grown accustom to that.
Question is will the Vikings ever beat Russel Wilson...
Ravens fans feeling like Viking fans this am.

There is a rumor floating around that Wilson will be in Minnesota on September 26th. Now does that mean we are going to have a talk with him and his agent? Or does it mean he is coming to town to whip our azz again. You decide :)
I’d do that in a heartbeat.
Wilson is probably worth 2-3 wins over Cousins with any given roster. It’s the difference between .500 ball and
double digit wins every year.
Wilson, if he’s looking to get traded, would probably want
to go to a situation like Brady found. Top
offensive head coach, plenty of CAP room to go all in for a few years. Get a couple SBs in the next 4 years. We’d probably be a decent plan B if he can’t
figure that out.
That said, I doubt that Seattle would do that unless Wilson
was being majorly disruptive.

Haha. That’s brilliant. You should be a gm…
Lol, you’d probably have to include Dozier to entice Seattle… ;) B)

...seriously, that seems to be the babble. How DARE he not have more wins...even when the Vikings have managed to undo his late efforts a TON over the past year?
