Great to see a dream come true. But the hard part comes now. He'll either develop into QB2 next season and give the Vikings something to think about in '23, or he'll not and end up one of those career backups like Brett Hundley or Chase Daniel.

Kind of amazing to think all that time and energy into grooming him to be a QB and then he makes the dream come true, gets to the NFL and goes to a team where he could be an injury from starting his first year and ends up missing 10 days of practice and falling so far behind that he may go from a sure #2 to a #3, because he would not get vaxed.  Perhaps his dad should have spent more time teaching him how to be a team player.

When I hear about an article like this, I think Todd Marinovich.

Let's hope Mond avoids the drugs and the total waste of a life that Marinovich became.
