#4 Ohio State vs. #12 Oregon

Oregon built a brand on offense for decades.  Now with HC Cristobal running the show, Oregon's going hard after the elite defensive players in the nation.  Half of the starting defense is now 5-star recruits (HC Cristobal is a former O-lineman from U Miami and Asst. to Saban at Alabama)

#5 DE Kayvon Thibodeaux:  Arguably the #1 rated NFL prospect on defense and a consensus Top 5 pick next draft.  2019 Freshman PAC-12 DPOY.  Complete toolbox of length, power, speed.  Everyone knows him.

#1 MLB Noah Sewell:  Peneii's "little" brother at 6'1, 265 lbs. and runs a legit 4.5.  Can play FB, TE.  2020 Freshman PAC-12 DPOY.  4-star recruit that still needs polish in fundamentals but stepped on the field as a true freshman like his brother did, and ran the defense on Day 1.  Round 1, latest Round 2 pick whenever he chooses to declare as he's only a true sophomore this year.

#10 WLB Justin Flowe:  All of Duck nation is giddy about this one.  5-star, #1 LB and #6 overall rated prospect.  He was 6'2, 230 lbs. ran 4.4 at 17 yrs old at the Nike camps and nicknamed "Baby Man".  Scouts have called him best LB prospect in 10+ years and might be the most vicious striker of any elite prospect they've ever seen.  Flowe is just something you have to watch, because even the hyperbolic descriptions do not fit.  He has the ability to close and hit people that makes you think you're watching Madden.  He hits people in a way that makes you feel sorry for a kid.  I fully anticipate flags, he's undoubtedly going to rack up some personal fouls and coaches have told him no more of the WWE stuff LOL.

Flowe had to sit out last season after a minor knee tear in the first game, so other than the spring game nobody has seen him play in a Ducks uniform.

I'm going to post some of his Youtube high school highlights stuff, and yes we know he can't do any more suplexes and body slams LOL.  But if you like watching old-school NASTY, hard-hitting LB play he's a treat to watch .... honestly since Ray Lewis & James Harrison retired I haven't seen a LB that intimidates with his hitting ability.   Oh, and Justin's little brother is Jonathan Flowe, a 4-star LB recruit who just arrived at Oregon in spring - he's not quite the prospect but the amount of talent at LB at Oregon right now is crazy

Kayvon Thibodeaux:  2 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble (left in 2nd Qtr ankle injury)
Noah Sewell:  5 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble
Justin Flowe:  14 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 forced fumble (4th quarter momentum changing play that swung the game)

Flowe only saw that many snaps as another LB Mathis got hurt and they turned Flowe loose, dude did not disappoint

14  tackles Tied record for most tackles by a Freshman debut in school history

Noah Sewell still grew from last year, added 2" of height, lost 15 lbs and added speed he's up to 6'3 251 looks like a young Ray Lewis at Miami

All 3 freaks of nature and future Top 10 picks, Ducks team overall isn't that good but honestly these 3 on defense together are going to wreck some people.
