Career highlights are supplanting Drew Lock and an almost playoff win.

But, definitely the right choice to Denver at this time. Maybe with all those weapons he breaks the high teens low twenties in TDs.

A lot of Bronco fans are melting down at this news  :p.

I kind of get it. As a delusional fan you’re wanting to see if Drew Lock can take the magic leap since he’s got a big arm and is in year 3.

… But the rest of the world sees a bust. Teddy might surprise some of those fans. Many AFC fans probably haven’t seen him play all that much the past few years.

Clearly, the Broncos should have drafted a QB - Fields/Mac available.  They drafted a CB and then a RB in early 2nd.  Not a good first year draft for GM Paton - IMO.  Said it post  draft and I'm repeating, don't need the 3 years out BS.

Agreed. Paton said an 'elite' corner was much harder to find than a QB. LOL. Interesting take.

Unless you don't think that either of those QBs will be better than an elite CB.  We have seen what happens when you take the 4th or 5th QB off the board to early because of need,  hard to fault him IMO.   I still think rogers ends up in Denver after this season.

Yes, I'm sure this was the rationale. But keep in mind these 'elite' corners don't always pan out either. The bottom line is the Draft is risky no matter what, may as well make your decisions and see how it falls.
