Diggs wants to know
No matter if you like Keanu Reeves acting or not... he's a hell of a human being. Probably one of the most genuine, humble, and charitable people in Hollywood.
As far as Diggs question... John Wick is more my style. The Matrix had some sweet fighting but the story was a little out there for me.
One movie of his I really enjoyed was 47 Ronin.
For me, its the Matrix easily. John Wick, the first movie? It was ok. Each one since? lol, umm....guys getting shot ad nauseam to the point you aren't sure if its camp or not.
This is difficult for me because I freaking love Keanu Reeves. I love the John Wick series. The Matrix paved the way for certain movies. Bill & Ted's was cheesy fun. Point Break was fun. I loved The Devil's Advocate and Constantine. My Own Private Idaho broke some barriers. The Lake House, Speed, A Walk in the Clouds, Sweet November and Something's Gotta Give are also very good. And yeah he is a genuinely kind and generous person. Also Keanu Reeves at Comic-Con moments for Cyberpunk was awesome. I am also partial to Always Be My Maybe. He is very humble and funny as well as so very very hot. Like a fine wine, he gets better with age.
Matrix was ahead of it's time. First Wick was enjoyable. After that, pffft.
Well it depends... do you want to watch some offbeat sci-fi with philosophical undertones, robot bad guys, and a whole lotta bad acting? Or a 90 minute cartoon that consists entirely of constant gunfire, guys getting their heads blown open, implausible survival of said gunfire, and a whole lotta bad acting?
YOU...Make the call!
You are all missing the best Keanu film
KNOCK, KNOCK
The Matrix for sure over Wick, but Point Break is my fav Reeves movie overall. That one is so much fun.

After watching Point Break, I really want to do some free fall skydiving.
Clearly, none of you have seen Much Ado About Nothing. Oh my.
I tried to watch the Matrix. I even HAD TO...for work. I was designing a magazine cover and the publisher wanted it based on the Matrix, so I rented it. I tried watching it twice and couldn't get through it. Now, I don't want to trash a movie so many apparently love, so I won't, so I'll just say, it's ME, not you. I don't like science fiction. Didn't like Star Wars or even Lord of the Rings. Combine that with little time, a short attention span and an actor who makes me laugh when he's being serious....just can't do it. Sounds like a great guy though.

My wife hates sci-fi also. I like Keanu, but to say he's a 'great' actor, that would be a stretch to me. But his best acting was probably 'Constantine', IMO. There's a young Shia Labeouf in that movie that outperforms him. One of my favorite character actors is Peter Stormare. Good in everything he does, also in Constantine. Also in "Fargo"....and coincidentally some of the 'John Wick' movies.

Knew there was something deeply wrong with you. :)
I believe I have seen Much Ado about Nothing. We enjoyed it.

Hey, I said I DIDN'T like science fiction. ;-)
Really liked the first John Wick movie, hated the third one. I love the way these hollywood bad asses can find a way to fight a hundred men.....one at a time.
I think The Matrix was based on a true story. :)
