Will Vikings go with rookie kicker?
I say no. In fact, I say hell no. Patterson probably has the stronger leg, but he also has a history of missing important kicks. Sure, Joseph has been on 6 teams in 4 years, but if you look at the numbers, he's been fairly reliable, especially on kicks what would win or tie the game. And the only reason he hasn't stuck before is because the team he's been on has either drafted a kicker or brought in a star veteran. Don't think about this too much, Mike. Joseph should be our kicker.

I think whichever way they go will be the wrong decision at various points during the season.

lol, I was going to respond the same way. Does it matter? Bitter disappointment awaits regardless.
