Here come the wheels....
Cousins: “I think I’ve got to run the ball more… I can do just enough. I have to remind myself that hey, you’ve got a little bit of quick-twitch, you can take off… You can hang with these guys, you can run… There’s more there to go get.”#KirkTheScrambler https://t.co/peO0Dzj7rc

They only way he would have quick twitch is if he was having a grand mal seizure. Nice arm, good brain, but thats about where his QB talents end. Maybe you can say he has straight line speed...but if he has to make a change of direction its gonna be like a freight train....gonna take a while.

Cousins best “quick twitch” moves

I think you need to STFU. This team is stacked with stars and depth up and down the roster. All you need to do is be Kirk Cousins. Because the one thing that will absolutely derail this season for everyone is you getting gimped by thinking "there's more there to get."

vs. standing in a collapsing pocket until the last possible second, and there's a sea of trash around his ankles and knees? I'd rather see him take off and slide for plus 3 than a minus 8. Pretty sure he saw the RGIII experiment, and knows what he can and can't do.

I'm not going to argue over which crash site is better. He just needs to be smart.
He's said this every offseason he's been here, and it never happens.
This will go down in the "offseason chatter" hall of fame, right next to "Adrian Peterson is gonna catch more passes" and "Matt Kalil finally feels fully healthy".

I think getting riled about a soundbyte from an offseason interview is a bit of overreaction.

It was feigned outrage.

Sigh. Its always something with the Purple. Always.
"The Jake Browning Show was created when rookie Kellen Mond, who has been vaccinated, tested positive. Cousins and backup Nate Stanley also were sacked as unvaccinated players who had close contact with Mond."
Vaccinated players can catch it, vaccinated players can transmit it, but healthy unvaccinated players get jerked off the field for getting exposed while those that were equally exposed play....makes perfect sense.
Also why would it just be the exposed QBs? Wasn't mond in close contact with the rest of the offense and coaches this week? Or what about extended contact?
This policy is retarded and completely void of logic. I am not anti vaccine but this is just plain stupid.

I think there's some possibility that the policy made some amount of sense pre-delta variant, if you assume that vaccinated players prevent tranmission of Covid. With that assumption looking like it's no longer holding true, if it ever was true, I imagine they'll have to make changes.

It's designed to try to get stupid players refusing the shot to act smart inspite of themselves. It's not void of logic, it just utilizes a logic which tries to make guys do what the NFL wants.
We are running our own biological warfare experiments in an uncontrolled environment and using ourselves as the test subjects. What could possibly go wrong?
