The stick brought back a memory. My cousin and I used to stand on the footbridge behind his house that crossed a creek. We'd each have a stick and play homerun derby with the gravel rocks. He was a Brewers fan, so he was always Gorman Thomas and I was usually Mike Schmitt. We'd whack rocks for hours...
