Biggest Question Mark This Year?
Gotta be pass-rush...
Wouldn't you agree? I'm not convinced those 2 big DT's are going to excel at it or not? Then there is the elephant in the room name Danielle.
I mean if Darrisaw is even serviceable as a rook, it's not even close imo between that and OL.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Its already been explainedI've heard this phrase before when it comes to injuries. We'll see. Hopefully you are right.
Yeah, but this didn't come from Zimmer I don't believe. I haven't heard, was he still not practicing late this week?

From what I've managed to glean he hasn't been on the field since the June 1st practice.

Well that is a little concerning, but they may just be being cautious and wanting to make sure he sound for the mini camp coming up.

An abundance of caution. Like dating Heather Locklear.

Yep, but there was time.... caution would have been out the window like a beer can when you meet a cop.
@"JimmyinSD" said:I hope so but we heard that it was just a tweak with Hunter too. I really want Darrisaw to succeed. Hopefully the linebackers improve. Kendricks is the real deal but other than that, there are still concerns. Hoping the best for Hunter too.@"comet52" said: Darrisaw's groin. Supposed to be normal and nothing to worry about. Something about stretching out the scar tissue from the surgical procedure.
Same as last year and year before. can we keep Kirk clean enough for him to excel?
With our 2 beasts in the middle, we will force teams to throw and we will have 4 starter capable corners to cover.
greatest concern is and will be until they prove otherwise---is this oline up to the challenge of both run blocking and giving KC a fighters chance to sling the rock.

But, haven't some been clamouring for a more modern O?
#Vikings kept practice short today, just over an hour. Not a ton of jaw-dropping takeaways.

-Christian Darrisaw rotated in with the 2s as he comes back from a groin pull
-Sheldon Richardson didn’t do much team work. Jalyn Holmes and Armon Watts were used inside on passing downs

Right, but y'know what they say about apples and trees. I'd bet KK's offense isn't that much different than GKs. I'd guess a little more passing, but how much do you want to take away from Dalvin? I also think we will still use a lot of 12 personnel. But who knows? We definitely went in a more physical direction in terms of the OLs we selected. So maybe much more passing is in store. Got a lot of speed now with Thielen and JJ. And ISJ replacing Rudy. And Smith-Marsette apparently getting every opportunity to win WR3. Maybe we will turn it loose a bit. I just hope he knows enough to run on 2nd downs.

im thinking similar run pass splits as last year, maybe a few more runs since the d should be much better
Coach Zimmer is the biggest question mark I've got this season.
Our defense should be exponentially better than last season.
Our OL can be mid-pack, and still look brilliant compared to last year.
Our offensive skill positions are stacked, period.
Our STs...well, I'm used to having no f***ing clue, so that's normal.
To me, it's whether coach Z can incorporate everything and game plan beyond his predictable "grind and use clock" approach. He needs to learn to put his foot on the throats of opposing teams when we're leading...and he needs to update his defense in general.
Can the old dog bring new tricks? We'll see in a few months.
OLine, Klint, and Pass Rush are my biggest concerns.
OLine is what it is, we added guys with great potential, but we don't have much for proven and experience on the line.Klint has never called a game, but can probably lean on his dad.Pass Rush is getting better and should be fine. It'll just be a longer year if Hunter falls off or reinjures something, as our depth is so weak.
Biggest question now is how long it takes the new pieces to tell. Next biggest question?
What ring size?
