Justin Fields didn't look exactly happy....

I also hate that Fields is a Bear.  Having watched Trey Lance play in Fargo, there's no way I would've picked Lance before Fields.  What Fields did to Clemson was simply dominate, and I couldn't even imagine Lance being able to zip the ball like that.
I also seem to underrate NDSU QBs.  I thought Wentz would be a 4th rounder.  NDSU has always been a tough, run heavy offense, so when they throw, they usually have receivers wide open for huge plays.  Yeah, the ball needs to get there, but the passing plays are unexpected most of the time.

Bears have a great QB situation. Their third string QB is on the books for $9 million.

I always applaud the effort. They have to get that Trubisky stink out of their mouthes.

Lance comes across like Mahomes, Fields comes across like Cam without the big physical presence. I saw bust.

Yeah, that didn't make me happy.  Hopefully they find a way to screw it up.  

Don't think Fields is a bum, but the staff and front office is filled with them. Don't think they'll ever know what they might have had in Fields because they'll all be fired in a year. Fields isn't going to immediately come in and win 3 more games for this team. He's got a lot to learn and unlearn from the OSU system. Most can't do it.

They "nutted up" for Mitch as well. There is being bold and there is perpetual stupidity disguised as boldness. We'll see which this front office is. To date none of the boldness has translated to consistently impressive teams. 

I don't think Fields is a bum and there are worse teams he could have gone.  I actually think he was a steal at 10.  

Lawrence with the Jags is not a terrible match.
I think Wilson is a stud but not sure he can shine in NYC with the Jets.  Although I do like their new coach hire - Saleh DC from 49'ers.
Lance is a project but he is going to the best team so he might look good earlier then I would have expected
Mac Jones I think might be a bust but not a bad situation for him.  The Pats have had immobile QB's for decades - Bledsoe, Brady and now Mac.  Jeez now that I think about Grogan was no Fran :)

Lance has the most to learn, but I stick by my prediction that he will be the best QB from this draft 3 years from now. I'm beginning to have more doubts about Wilson. The Mormon in Manhattan. Or Home Alone 2; Lost in New York. I guess if he can make there, he can make it anywhere. Lawrence will shine early and fade late. Folks will wonder what all the fuss was about. Making predictions is fun.
