12+ Hours Out
IMO, if we trade off the #14, it will be with the Broncos to grab a LT. That's the only scenario I'd trade up for.
I still like the idea of a WR being there and we trade back and collect the Ravens two #1s. The draft day angst this would generate is on brand and puts us in the garden spot for DE3 and OT4-5.
With two firsts, we probably sit tight Day 2 unless there's value we can't pass up. Still would have the capital necessary to move up.
Regardless, it's Draft Weekend Eve. Life is slowly getting back to normal ish.

MN may end up being a spot NO targets since they'll want to slide in above NE and AZ, they've talked. I just don't get the feeling the Vikings want to drop back to #27 unless they're getting the world. It would need to be more than the package they gave GB.
-17 Round 1 Grades
-80 Round 1-3 Grades
-4 QBs in my top 20
-Couple surprises outside the Round 1-3 grades

That trade doesn't look right. Was it the Saint's 27th AND their future 1st and a 2018 5th? If our targets are gone, I would definitely consider moving down to 28th, but based on the Rich Hill points chart I'm looking at the Saints would need to give us their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th this year to be equal in value.
The trade was what you're saying. 2018 #27, 2018 Fifth, 2019 First. For #14. So 2 firsts.
If the Vikings don't want to go QB, and the top 3 OTs are gone, that deal would be pretty enticing.Jameis Winston is the Saints QB these days, not Brees. He might play well but he also might win 5 games.

Really hope this is true and they reluctantly turned it down because Love sucks
Of interest, in DJ's final Top 200, Rousseau is rated ahead of Phillips.

In the past month, 18 personnel people were asked to name the three best players, in order, in this year’s draft. A first-place vote was worth three points, a second-place vote was worth two points and a third-place vote was worth one.
Here were the point totals:
Best player in the draft1. Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida: 36 points (6 firsts)
2. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson: 34 points (9 firsts)

Are we going to see a precipitous drop tonight? Or does he not make it out of top 10???

QBs will always be over drafted. He's probably gone by 8. Spending a 6 and $3 million won't preclude Denver from picking him or having a team move up.
