Remember that well. Interesting thing is that Kiper was right. Sorta. Trent Dilfer was a disappointment as a QB. Still, he played 14 years and won a Super Bowl. Trev Alberts was a bust. Out of the NFL after three seasons.
I have nothing but respect for people like Kiper and Florio who take a passion and create a career out of it. Who the hell is Kiper -- just someone who loves football, tries to educate himself about football, watches a ton more tape than the average Joe and was able to build a career out of that. Kudos to him.

And I've been saying this for 10 years. Now that he's a GM, his flaws are much more visible. I can't believe a multi-million dollar business hired this man to bring on talent.
I just can't stand Kiper's TV presence, irritates the hell out of me. But his analysis is no worse than any of the other so called experts. I'd take Geoff and a few others here over any of them.

The most impressive thing about Kiper is he doesn't leave to use the restroom during draft night. Like how?

He makes more money than he could on t.v. and when Davis wakes up and cleans house (or if he wakes up), Mayock can go back to t.v. with "NFL G.M." on his resume and make better dough than he might have without that.
