OT: NCAA Men's Tournament
That was absolutely unbelievable. Jalen Suggs from St. Paul helps with the win.
Super crazy ending, we all jumped out of our seats and no one was a Zags fan.... Hahahahaa

HahahahaaI'm a Michigan fan so had been feeling 'some kind of way' about UCLA since they knocked my team out. But I didn't want either team to lose after that spectacular effort. Both teams left it all out there. And Jalen Suggs being from Minnesota was a bonus. Between him and Paige Bueckers playing for UConn, Minnesota basketball is represented well! If you don't know her, check her out.
Anyway, I had two friends both texting me like crazy... one a lifelong Zags fan who attended the same high school as Suggs and the other a life long Bruins fan. Their reactions through the whole game were crazy. I kept telling both of them to just breathe!
What a game!
Maybe coach Johnson can keep players like Suggs from leaving the state. The best of the best from here have gone to the elite Mens Hoops Schools elsewhere.
Hard to blame em I guess.
I dont know if UCLA could have/should have called a time-out? Probably not...that was damn near a 1/2 court shot by Suggs - and I dont recall many Bruins (if any) in his face when he tossed-up that prayer. That might have been a miss on their part, a costly one.

One of the best NCAA tourney games ever. Final shot evoked memories of Laettner vs Kentucky which is arguably the most famous shot in tourney history.

All of those buzzer-beaters were so much fun to watch. *Love* March Madness!
crazy finish to a great allaround game by both teams
UCLA should have won on it on last possession of regulation, if it was a UCLA player driving into one of the Gonzaga big men that charge call never would have been called. The bank shot to win was pretty lucky. Think Gonzaga was wearing down and UCLA would have gotten them in a 2nd OT, but I am in LA so very biased and bummed!

Even I love March Madness and I don't watch college basketball at all. I've long considered the Final Four the 2nd greatest sports event of the year. Behind the NFL draft, of course.

The only basketball I watch at all is a Michigan game if I can catch it and March Madness. March Madness is #1 on my list. And it has not disappointed this year at all.I enjoy reading the draft talk here but I hardly followed it all until recently. It's probably because I don't watch that much college football other than Michigan (yes, there is a theme). And even now, I just want to get it done and see who's going to be on the Vikings roster.
March Madness all day, though.
Gonzaga at the start reminded me a little of the Vikings after the Minnesota Miracle (after that first drive).
At least they're closing the gap, but wow.

Pure Baylor domination on all ends of the floor. They were so much more active defensively and were hitting their threes. I thought Gonzaga was going to win, but boy did Baylor change my mind within the first 5 minutes of the game.
