Tua gets weapons or Sewell. Imagine what the Jets could get for the #2.

QBs haven’t been drafted No. 1-2-3 overall since the 1999 draft when Tim Couch, Donovan McNabb, and Akili Smith went consecutively.

That streak is now in jeopardy with the 49ers now holding the No. 3 overall pick.

that is insane for the #3 QB in the draft when there isnt really a consensus #2,  I go with Wilson at 2,  but IMO the next 3 guys are pretty much coin flips.

Does this mean the 9ers won't be trading for Cousins, or are they still in play by offering pick #3 to us? B)

Dolphins now have basically turned their former LT Laremy Tunsil who they traded to Houston into four first-round picks and a third-round pick.

Very likely this will be the 3rd time in modern NFL Draft history we see QBs drafted 1, 2, 3. It has happened twice before:

1999

1. Tim Couch

2. Donovan McNabb

3. Akili Smith

1971

1. Jim Plunkett

2. Archie Manning

3. Dan Pastorini

We should've done that with Reiff last year.

Some teams go for it. Some times you pay big time for going for it and it sets back your franchise 5 years.

But at least you can say you took a swing for the fences. Nothing worse for a fanbase than mediocrity. Get busy living or get busy dying. Anything goes for GMs and their desire to try and get a franchise QB, lol. Its nuts. Early rumor is its for Trey Lance.

I think it has to be Wilson or Fields.  I guess Lance could be outside chance as well.  Why would you give up so much if your guy could go #2?

All the more reason to believe 4 QBs will be off the board by #5, surely by #8.

Now
@MoveTheSticks is mentioning that Mac Jones shouldn't be ruled out as a potential fit for SF at #3.

Heard it live. Still can't believe it.

And another trade:

Trade: #Eagles have traded picks No. 6 and No. 156 overall to the Dolphins in exchange for No. 12 overall, No. 123 overall, and a 2022 first-round pick.
