We’re here at the
@GeorgiaFootball Pro Day and I know we have tons to watch (the 40, the ball skills, etc), but let me just say this: CB Eric Stokes LOOKS the part. And he just jumped a 38.5” vertical.

Not sure what’s more impressive, this man
@BenCleveland74 running 4.97 at 343 lbs or CB Tyson Campbell running in the 4.2’s.

Asked #UGA CB Eric Stokes about the Georgia DBs habit of playing the hands of the WRs vs. finding the ball.

“It’s just a matter of comfort. Playing through the eyes and hands of receivers is what was most comfortable.”

Kirby Smart on Azeez Ojulari: "When you rank guys on toughness......Azeez ranks near the top of that. He wants every part of it.....and he will add in the locker room as well."

  • Arkansas DT Jonathan Marshall improved his draft stock with a very good showing at his Pro Day, according to Pro Football Network draft analyst Tony Pauline. According to Pauline, Marshall (6'3/317) was considered to be a preferred free agent heading into Arkansas' Pro Day. After the event, in which the defensive lineman put up 36 reps in the bench press, he's viewed as a surefire Day 3 selection. Marshall finished his final season at Arkansas with 35 total tackles, including 6.5 for loss, and 19 quarterback hurries.

So Twyman, who was considered more of a finesse/speed DT, took the year off, bulked up to 300 pounds, then goes on to run a blistering 5.5/5.3 40 yard dash.

Not sure he did himself any favors.

Honestly, I'm not too concerned. The 1.74 split is acceptable. Still, any talk of him being a Day 2 guy can be put to bed.

Running sub 5 seconds at 340+ will have to do.

Georgia LB Monty Rice recorded 40-yard dash times of 4.57 and 4.59 seconds at Georgia's Pro Day on Wednesday. Due to a foot injury, Rice (6'1/235) decided to sit out the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl matchup with Cincinnati. He also didn't take part in the Reese's Senior Bowl, and the time taken to recover from the foot injury appeared to pay dividends at Wednesday's Pro Day. In addition to clocking in with sub-4.6 times on both of his 40-yard dash runs, Rice reportedly performed well in position drills. He's considered one of the top linebackers in the draft, and Wednesday's performance will only help Rice's standing.

https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2021-nfl-draft-interior-offensive-lineman-rankings

Cleveland possesses one of the freakiest builds not only among offensive linemen but among the entire draft class. He checked in at the Senior Bowl at 6-foot-6 and a whopping 354 pounds. And when you look at his arms and gut, he’s not fat. He’s built more like a World’s Strongest Man competitor than an offensive lineman. In fact, his weight room antics are stuff of legend at Georgia. A few years ago, Cleveland repped 225 pounds 50 times in the Georgia weight room testing (49 is the NFL combine record). That would be one thing if it was just in the weight room, but it translates to the field, as well.
Unlike most guys who tip the scales at 350-plus pounds, Cleveland is still agile enough to get the job done in pass protection. He allowed only six pressures this past season on 283 pass-blocking snaps for an 86.2 grade. While his week ended early, Cleveland still showed out well in limited time at the Senior Bowl.

I would like to see the Vikes pick him up with one of their 5th's . Illinois has not had a QB for the last several years. Josh has made a few great catches on very few opportunities.
