Placeholder For DE Prospects
Wouldn’t be shocked if @FSUFootball EDGE Janarius Robinson cracks Top 100 next month. @JanariusD1 has some of freakiest tools in ‘21 draft. Got better each day @seniorbowl and put it all together in game. Counter flashes like this has DL coaches excited. #TheDraftStartsInMobile pic.twitter.com/n0JmOkdMAS

Interesting article. One thing Luke brings up that I'd forgotten about is that Jim Mora was Phillips' coach at UCLA when he was going through all that. From past interviews I've read, Mora and Zimmer seem to have a good relationship. Mora also coached Barr and Kendricks.

Rousseau's 10 yard split 1.57.
Below is a comprehensive list of the top 40 edge prospects who had a better 10 yard split:
Really liking what I'm seeing from both Joe Tryon and Carlos Basham. Both would be good trade down in the first or trade up in the 2nd candidates.

Kaindoh getting some love too. Early Day 3 guy. Love to see him get molded under Dre.
Zaven Collins is my favorite defensive player in the draft. We'd be fools for taking a linebacker in the 1st, but is he even a LB? This is the first I'm hearing anyone suggest he could be an edge in the NFL.
https://brownswire.usatoday.com/2021/04/21/browns-draft-projection-zaven-collins-bulks-up-to-de-weight/
Tulsa linebacker Zaven Collins has been one of the most popular projections for the Cleveland Browns’ first selection in the 2021 NFL draft. Much of that speculative projection was based on Collins’ outstanding athleticism for his size as a versatile off-ball linebacker.
The results from the official testing at the recent medical combine could change that thinking, however. Collins officially measured in at just over 6-foot-4 but a surprising 270 pounds. He was listed at 259 pounds by Tulsa.
At that weight, playing as an off-ball linebacker is almost completely off the table, at least in a full-time role. Collins is now the dimensions of a full-time EDGE, bigger than many of the defensive end prospects in the class.
I’ve long projected Collins to be a better fit as a stand-up EDGE than the off-ball role he played for the Golden Hurricanes, but this heftier weight takes away from some of the positional versatility that helped make Collins so appealing for Cleveland. He should still be in strong consideration for the Browns at No. 26 overall, but Collins isn’t playing linebacker at that weight.

Tulsa LB Zaven Collins (6-4) was up 11 pounds from his Pro Day to 270.

But does he play 17 games a season?I know about the concussions, but UMiami’s@CanesFootball Jaelan Phillips is the best defensive player in this year’s draft. I don’t even think it is close.Agree, Phillips is the one player that you have to pass on. How can you pull the trigger on a guy who was told to retire from football.

I will say this, I wouldn't be surprised if the Vikes only took 1 DE this draft if they feel good about Danielle's health and are liking the way Wonnum is progressing. We will see
@"Hawkvike25" said:I think opposite of Hunter we will probably see a rotation of Weatherly and Wonnum. After that, the mish mosh of Holmes, Hercules, and the various other scrubs could use an update. Zim's comments are still ringing in my ears.@"BarrNone55" said: Kaindoh getting some love too. Early Day 3 guy. Love to see him get molded under Dre. Great bet: #Vikings draft a pass rusher next week. If not in the 1st, have heard lots of good things about Tulane’s Cameron Sample. MN has many 3rd and 4th round picks. He kicked butt Senior Bowl week. MN’s two DL coaches have both connected with him. pic.twitter.com/CZgA3klfp1
