Former Chicago Bears guard Kyle Long plans to make a comeback, according to Macon Gunter, who co-hosts the Green Light Podcast with Long's brother, Chris.

Long is not under contract with Chicago and is free to sign with any team.

The No. 20 overall pick in 2013, Long played his entire career in Chicago. He announced his retirement following the 2019 season. The offensive lineman had played in just 12 games in his final two seasons.
After opening his career with three straight Pro Bowls, injuries ripped Long's career. He didn't play in 16 games in any of his final four seasons.
Health will be a critical factor in Long landing a contract. However, if he's good to go, the 32-year-old should find a home in a league always in need of reliable interior linemen.

Anyone think we should kick the tires on him...?

Looking at last year's roster...we kicked the tires a little too often and now the wheels have fallen off our ride...
