They had to clear cap space from somewhere and his inconsistencies last year put him at risk. I'd expect Colquitt to be released soon too.

A little alarming. But I suppose it couldn't hurt taking him to camp to compete with the new guy..and maybe a draft pick. We need to cover this base well this summer.

No surprise. Bailey left 27 points on the board last season (15/22 on FGs, 37/43 on XPs) and was the lowest-graded kicker in the NFL.

Cutting him clears his $2.7M 2021 salary but accelerates his $1.05M 2022 bonus proration. About $1M in net savings with the top 51 rule.

Hehe, I've been sticking around for long enough to not get confused about this  ;)

...and over here in Germany we do also call some kinds of ankle boots "Boots" (with the english "u"-sound, not an "o"-sound)  ;-)
