No way, Oweh
Been watching a lot of this Penn State edge rusher lately. Ran a 4.3 forty at 6-5, 256--hand and laser.
Got the following #’s from well regarded speed coach Ryan Capretta of @proactivesp. Jayson Oweh: 4.34 hand/ 4.38 laser —> Jaycee Horn: 4.39 hand/ 4.42 laser. —> Micah Parsons: 4.41 hand/ 4.44 laser. Capretta correctly timed Isaiah Simmons last year at 4.38 laser b4 the combine.

Wow... 4.3 forty at his size and length. I'm listening...
6-5-256....Danielle Hunter was 6-5, 252. Now we just have to figure out why he didn't get any sacks last year. Not that this is a deal breaker. Hunter had fewer sacks at LSU (comparing full tenure). Reading the below, this sounds like someone Andre Patterson would like very much...
In Kiper’s latest mock draft, which was published Feb. 25, the longtime analyst has the New Orleans Saints drafting Oweh at the end of the first round with the No. 28 overall pick.

On Oweh, yeah very much a raw lump of athletic clay type of guy. I was watching an interview with Penn State coach James Franklin who eluded to his athleticism and the fact that his best football is ahead of him still. I just have a hard time taking a guy in the first round with no sacks, even in a five game season. For someone with that kind of freaky athleticism you'd think he would have found his way home even a couple times.
Also very good time for Micah Parsons
PFF best graded run defender for PSU.
Hmmmmmmm, sounds familiar.
Says he'll run 4.35 at Happy Valley.
I've watched quite a bit on all of the pass rushers at this point. Oweh is my favorite ball of clay, even over Rousseau. If you put him with Andre Patterson and he can develop a pass rushing plan he's going to be a problem. I have him as my 4th ranked 43 EDGE player

2. Azeez Ojulari
3. Kwity Paye
4. Jayson Oweh
5. Greg Rousseau

Interesting. I don't consider Ojulari a 4-3 end. Not at 6-3 and 240. But, neither was Robert Mathis, so.

5. Greg RousseauVery interesting. I also think Ojulari seems better suited as a 3-4 OLB due to his size. I'm just not a Kwity Paye fan. Oweh is intriguing, but for all his physical talent...there's just no production. Out of curiosity, why do you have Rousseau behind those guys?

No Tryon? I'd have Phillips #1 too if it weren't for his medical and some other character things. But Paye would be in there, along with Tryon, then Rousseau.
