Cousins Was Clutch In 2020

Kirk's fault, definitely lol.

The concept of it being a team sport eludes a lot of folks.
1.) Fran Tarkington
2.) Joe Kapp
There's your 4 Super Bowl appearances...
Vikings in 2020:
TDs Scored = 20 (5th in NFL)
TDs Allowed = 19 (25th in NFL)
W/L Record on the Road,
vs. Teams w/Winning Records,
Last 5 Seasons:
Packers = 6-18 (.250)
Vikings = 6-18 (.250)
I guess Rodgers sucks too.

Can't win many ball games regardless who the quarterback is...
TD Passes since 2015,
4th Q -- Two Minutes or Less Remaining,
Team Trailing by 8 or Fewer Points,
(incl. Playoffs)
Tom Brady = 4
Kirk Cousins = 6

In 2020, the #Vikings were on the field for a total of 344 drives (offense and defense)

If 4 of these drives (1.2%) turned out differently, Minnesota finishes the season 11-5 instead of 7-9
I like the player but I don't like the contract. QBOTF should be a priority in this draft in order to move off of KC after 2022. It was foolish to extend him under the terms of his current contract. It would be even more foolish to double down & extend him in 2023.
games we lost / where our opponent scored over 30
GB. 43
Tennessee. 31
Atlanta. 40
Dallas. 31
Chicago 33
New Orleans 180

But, maybe stick to the topic? Maybe reread the thread title and focus on that.@"BarrNone55" said: Author also failed to mention our sieve like OL. Or, do you think OL play is unimportant? And again, I'm almost positive having a D give up 32 points a game in the first six games, and eventually the third worst in franchise history, might have something to do with the outcome of the season. But, lets not let that cloud the argument. Who built the oline that's been sieve-like for a decade? Take time out from chest- thumping about Rick Mike and Kirk and their mediocre accomplishments to let us know.Funny I was just reading a lengthy post over at Purple Pain forum this morning on how he's *not* clutch-fun with statistics, you can slice it any way you like but the eye test still is reliable. I don't think NFL scouts and personnel are looking at Kirk and going oh man that guy is so clutch, it's only a matter of time til he puts a purple Lombardi on the shelf. But hey what do I know, I think waiting 7 years with a coach/gm combo to build a decent pass protecting oline might be long enough. JMO amid the ongoing celebrations of the greatness of Rick/Mike/Kirk! =) :p
Do you mean the board that has a countdown clock to the end of Cousins' contract and a 115 page tribute thread to Teddy?
Yeah, I'm shocked they aren't pro Cousins, LOL.

If 4 of these drives (1.2%) turned out differently, Minnesota finishes the season 11-5 instead of 7-9Couldn't the same thing be said for just about every team though? You play to much woulda coulda shoulda and you'll end up going crazy. The fact is we didn't last year. Here's to hoping that those fall our way this year.

Just bc there are STILL people who think the #Vikings would’ve been better off keeping Case Keenum in 2018 instead of signing Kirk Cousins...
— Adam Patrick (@adampatrickNFL) February 25, 2021
The Vikings D allowed 16 ppg in 2017 with Keenum
If they allowed 16 ppg in 2020, they would’ve finished with a 14-2 record

I'm shocked you think Kirk is going to lead us to a championship, LOL.
The Teddy thread at this point is mostly guys criticizing him, I wouldn't exactly call it a tribute.
