WRU

Is there any question? This picture tells it all. Pretty nuts to have FOUR top half of the 1st round WRs playing together on one team.

Looking at our WR depth, knowing what Smith or Waddle could bring, I'm not sure I pass on any of those top WRs from the SEC. Thielen isn't getting any younger.

I agree with you. Any of those WR's or even Kyle Pitts would be awfully tough to pass on
I cant shake two really strong premonitions heading into the draft:
Waddle a Viking @ 14
Mac Jones going to the Patriots
Don't laugh, I had this same strength of premonition when the Vikings drafted Moss and then AP.

Studs, it's almost unfair.

OK, as long as we understand that Waddle ain't Moss. There isn't a Moss in this draft. Only way I take a WR in the 1st is if we grab two starters at OL and DL in free agency. And even then I don't like it much.
Just because a player doesn't fill a need doesn't make him the BPA. If a team that uses a WR3 29% of the time takes a WR3 over a player like Darrisaw or Slater, I'll need a new TV...and a new cat. It's not like this isn't a massively deep WR class and it's not like we don't have 12 picks, and it's not like MOST of the top receivers in the NFL (Diggs, Thomas, Tyreek, Davante) were taken outside the 1st round.
Yes, you can mold that argument for any position, but it's especially true with WRs. No, I wait and get a guy like Eskridge or Shi or Tutu or Schwartz or Darden or one of the Moores. The middle rounds are thick this year with good receivers.
