So, umm...yeah, it seems like the assumptions regarding needing a Mahomes/Wilson/Watson mobile QB to remain competitive are a bit overhyped.
Maybe, just maybe, having the best overall team is better than trying to trade the farm instead of fixing problems?

Not only did Brady play great all year, he pretty much single handedly brought in Gronk, AB, and Fournette. THEY SCORED ALL 4 TDS TODAY.
Tampa defense was awesome. Their OL was awesome. But wow. Tom and his pals just brought a championship to TB. Teams like LAR, SF, MIN should be kicking themselves for not making a strong push for him last year. Hindsight is 20/20 but last offseason this was not some leap of faith on a rookie QB. It’s Tom Brady! We really should have been going after him.
Oh well. Congrats to Tampa. Chiefs will probably be back too. Kudos.

OK, sure, but Brady didn't win that game. He threw for 200 yards. He played the kind of game that Cousins is more than capable of playing.
