Any old school VU guys here?
It's been a long time, and I know a few of us have since passed (pinkflower/socaldean), but I know a few of us are still out there. I see a few familiar names here.

The good old days. 95-96 is when I started. Prior to that I was getting VU delivered to my house in paper form. Back the I started with Vikaholic then switched to SH.
Yep. VU in the ole print format.Dark Star, Mike Gelfand. Anybody remember Viking Report? I think it was Tommy Kramer’s Viking report. Then PT then moved over here when it was just starting up.
My original VU handle was "Refugee" starting in I think '98, changed to RS Express in 2001
I lurked at the end of the underground. Started becoming active in VU/Purple Thoughts. Always skolvikings44. I was going to start as SkolVikings, but then I didn’t want to be too close of a name as SkolVike (always enjoyed that member). Yeah, miss the days when there were so many of us and less drama. Glad we have this place.
Yep, started as MajTom on the email chains using Prodigy. The excitement as the modem sang while connecting at that blazing 1200 bps then jumping to 14.4 kbs. All those Alt BBS sites to explore with the 4k of data limit.
From way back with home delivery of VU to here now. Still lurking to get breaking news, tidbits of info and a few laughs.

I see some of the old VU guys over at the stadium. I work there, so I'm always running into a lot of old school fans.

I think SinOrSwim went thru some personal stuff and just left the board and has never returned. I'm friends with him on Facebook and all is well with him for sure, but in the moment he just felt he didn't want to return for whatever reason.
Still don't know what happened to Ralphie here....hope he's OK.
