Jets hire new coach
Jets are hiring former 49ers’ DC Robert Saleh as their next head coach, per league sources. The two sides now have reached agreement on a five-year deal.

He seemed smarter than that, oh well, Vikings call dibs on interviewing him for DC in 2023.
. He's the one guy I was worried about going to Detroit
Every year the media goes nuts over a few candidates, this guy is one. Remember when Matt Patricia was hired in Detroit? LMAO. Same thing. Who knows but they are crowing his ass already. Usually the kiss of death.
I like what he did with the D in SF. But good coordinator=good HC really is the exception not the rule.
Lions need to revamp their entire operations. I dont think Patricia had a chance there, but I dont think many would.
He's definitely best as a DC. No shame in that. Jim Johnson made himself a legend doing it.
I actually think Saleh was a good hire. Better lucky than good if you're the Jets...Question I have if I'm a Jets fan is Fields really worth the #2 Pick??? Or do they stick with what they got @ QB and draft the top OL?
