Reiff to Covid Reserve list

Well, this will be interesting. Do they just plug in Hill, or do they experiment a bit?

Time to move Cleveland to LT and see what he's got.

I'm not sure I want Cleveland at LT if Dozier is out there...unless the put in Mannion, which they won't.

For this line there should be a Mississippi rule.  Dl has to count to three mississippi before they can rush.

Hopefully they put Hinton in as well if he's shown he's capable in practice.

I'm hoping he's back next year. Definitely one less hole to fill in the draft.

Not sure many want Reiff gone after the season he's had, but that contract's gonna need to be fixed. In the meantime, might as well see what the young guys can do.

Cutting Reiff to get some cap relief really makes me cringe.  I get that he’s easy to cut, but the idea of losing
ground on our OLine when it’s barely functional as is, is not that
inspiring.  You know Cousins needs a
goodish OLine.  You know he doesn’t feel
blindside pressure and has high fumbles. 
You know our undersized OLine struggles to man block at all and maintain
a pocket when we need to pass without threat of running.  The idea of a 2021 OLine looking like Cleveland
- ? - Bradbury - Rookie - O’Neill looks like regression.

I think Barr and
Rudolph are the first cuts.  I’d keep Rudolph
at a steep paycut, but I like Conklin as the 2nd TE.

That said, I think it makes sense to see what Cleveland has
at tackle, although sample size of 1 game doesn’t tell you too much.

The other side of evaluating OTs is that it would be nice to see if Oli Udoh has anything. If he can play RT, it creates a lot of options.

I thought it was 5 days minimum and 2 negative tests on days 4 and 5 or some such combination of shit?

Audition time for next season for whoever is available.

According to SportsTrac, Reiff will be the 17th highest paid LT. I'm not going to fuck aound with the most important position on the O outside of the QB. Cleveland to LG, draft Davis for RG, and find cap relief elsewhere, like at the TE spot and our lame 3T.

How much of Reiff looking good is due to our interior being so so bad?  How many more pressures and sacks would ha e given up if the interior had been able to hold out their man or pick up a blitz?  Reilly has done a good job this year but there have been a handful of times where I'm locked on him and see his assignment just miss the sack because he was a step late.  

Imo we need to look at every possible scenario to improve this line.   If he is a go Sunday I would like to see what he can do at LG.  ONeill, Reiff, Bradbury,Cleveland,  Udoh. Then get Hinton in there and maybe Jones and slide Cleveland out to LT with ONeill and Reiff on the bench.   Use this bitch like the preseason we didn't get.
