So the Vikings will choice between #11 - #13 in Round 1?
I think you are correct. There are two teams that could finish with the same record as the Vikings that have a lower sos.
Any Jags fan that believes drafting a QB high is some sort of panacea should be giddy. All you have to do is ignore draft history for a few decades.

IF you're going to suck? This was the year to do it.
@"BarrNone55" said: Yes, that worked out really well for the Colts.C'mon now... Sucking for Luck paid off handsomely for @ # of seasons. Until the football gods smited them. It wasn't because Luck failed at this job.
Vikings are just where I hate em at - purgatory level. in that 11-13 range of draft, sniffing 8/8 seasons. It's what I wish on GB fans.
I read on twitter yesterday that the Jags have 11 total picks this draft and over $100MM of cap space. They obviously have a lot of holes but boy is there a lot of potential. Just dont sign any bad contracts in FA and they could do some damage in 3 years

Sorry for the thread-jack @ SB, I'm done now ;)

He'd go #1 in this Draft.

Plus, the O-Line they provided for Luck during his tenure there made Rick look like he rebuilt the famed Washington Redskin Hogs up front for us.

Yep, worst line in the league his first 2 years.

By 2018 it was arguably the best.
Should I pull up Matthew Stafford playoff wins next?
I loved Andrew Luck but that dude was straight awful in playoff games. Sure, he usually had a poor OL, but all he did was turn the ball over the playoffs. I think Trevor Lawrence is a better prospect than Luck was but that's just me.
Trey Lance has been compared to Luck. I would think Trey has a very good chance at being available in the 11-13 range.https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2900376-trey-lance-draws-andrew-luck-comparison-from-nfl-networks-daniel-jeremiah

Lance doesn't seem to be in that top QB discussion anymore, at least among fans and the media. I love his athletic profile and he is more than a running QB. I think he gets knocked too much for his running like Lamar Jackson did coming out...Trey Lance has been compared to Luck. Honestly, Lance might be an ideal QB for this offense. Zimmer loves to establish the running game, play good defense, and win the TOP and field position battle. Sit Lance for a year behind Cousins and we might have a good one in 2022.
Trey is a local kid too...Viking fans would luv em.
