Already have it taped. Should be a shootout according to the analyst. I continue to have a man-crush on Wilson for the Vikings upcoming draft. We will be picking closer to Top 10 in most years with around 5 QB's projected in the first round right now. Gotta do a Chiefs move from 27 to 10 for Mahomes or a Bills 12 to 7 move for Allen. The one thing that Wilson does/has that I haven't seen from most is the velocity/trajectory on 35-40 yard dimes. His arm, in that regard, reminds of Jeff George (yuck) but they are throws of beauty. Looking for a couple of those "Oh Wow" throws tonight!
@minny65 I've watched him 3 or 4 times now...several times a game he makes a Mahomeian throw...plus he's got decent wheels...my only knock is he is not 6-3...but I don't really care...had shoulder surgery, but obviously not a problem...super fast release and a rocket launcher for an arm...he's my QB2...

Wilson can run pretty well :) But I want to watch him move around the pocket to see if he has that skill set that a lot of even good QB's don't have. Cousins obviously lacks good pocket awareness and timing to move up and around. Not to confuse the Wilson's but Russell has great pocket awareness and is uncanny moving around with accuracy. From the games I have watched of Zack Wilson he can move around pretty well but it has only been the last two defenses where he faced a lot of pressure and that is where I want to see his movement/reactions.
Of the 2022 QBs I've seen so far, Howell is the best, then Strong/Jurcivich...not impressed with Clovis to date...

They are listless and it has been from the start. It's embarrassing to give up 35 pts and over 400 yds in a half. Their is no effort.
Back to Wilson, as I indicated pre-game on things I was hoping to see from him which you can throw out the window with UCF. Wilson looks like he is playing in a playground and 2 hand touch. Not his fault but I am just bummed to not see more tape on him handling pressure/blitz, tight windows etc... Clearly his arm and accuracy are well known but tonight you can see his movement skills and that last TD to make it 35 was a NFL throw that he makes looks like a flick of the wrist. I think this kid has it all and even if he is predicted to go Top 5 I want in big time. It's time this organization has the balls for a high risk high reward QB pick.
Oh please let him come to MN. My longterm outlook would be giddy.
Poor guy, with that performance, he's going to the Jets @ 2.
To me he is a similar player and prospect to Baker Mayfield. I'd be surprised to see him slip out of the top 15 picks

UCF has a terrible defense, but he was still throwing dimes to guys 30+ yards downfield. I really like Wilson and would take him over Fields. That being said, I doubt there is any chance he is available when we pick
