Omg, just started this. 4 episodes in. Beth Dutton is one of the better characters I've seen in awhile.

I watched the pilot of Debris last night on NBC. Did anyone else watch?

For a network show it’s intriguing. Kind of X-files meets LOST meets DARK (Netflix show).

I don’t give many new shows a chance but I’m going to stick with this one for a bit at least.

The Windsors
Mandalorian
Marvelous Mrs Maisel
We love Great British Baking Show
Chernobyl

Finally watched Chernobyl in one sitting last night. Yet another reminder about how important the truth is and how deadly lies can be.

Anybody else watch the blacklist?  I am just starting season 7 and honestly its not really getting old,  same storyline each episode for the most part but there are enough wrinkles to keep it fresh.

Really liked it for the first 3 or 4 seasons, then lost my interest. Seemed like it was getting formulaic, with Reddington exacting revenge, only question was who would provide the soundtrack.  It keeps popping up on my list, quality show though, liked Johnny Cash endings, particularly "The Man Comes Around".

Liking the shorter season arc's of some of the British show's 6 to 8 per season. Twenty episode season's are too much these day's.  Man I can't wait get away from the tube get out and watch some minor league/HS baseball softball.

Yep, same here. The same formulaic shit got to be too much along with all the leaps of faith you have to make as a viewer as the seasons went on. We made it around 3 season, I believe.

@"MaroonBells" said:I love crime and investigation stuff, so I really dug the Mindhunter and Manhunt things. Two seasons each. Manhunt: Unabomber might be the best thing I've ever watched on Netflix. Season two isn't as good. It's basically Clint Eastwood's Richard Jewell all over again, and not done as well (in fact laughable in places), but the story is just so compelling.
Ever watch Bosch on Amazon?  I think I binged 60 episodes in 2 weeks, really good series about an L.A. detective.  Also The Wire is just beyond anything else though I wouldn't call it purely investigation, that's just one element of it.

We caught Nomadland last night on HULU.

I'm still processing that one. Definitely worth the time, lots of messages one can take from it.

Not your happy, Hallmark/Disney type flick by any means.

Just watched the first twenty minutes of Debris. Not bad, just not sure it has legs.

Just finished Murder Among the Morons on Netflix. Excellent documentary. Must watch. Like, stop what you're watching and watch this. 3 episodes.

Watched that also. Very interesting. What's more interesting is that there actually is a religion based on what Mormons believe. SMH

There are more forgeries and fraud in our history that anyone is aware of, whether its art or religious artifacts.

Good call on Bosch. Started watching it last night and I'm already half way through season one.

Midway thru S2 of Yellowstone...

It's gotten quite compelling, good entertainment.

I still cant get used to Costner's gravel voice.

We just started M Night Shayamalan's The Servant...too early to tell how good or bad.

He's been such a disappointment over the years.

Watched the Old Varsity Blues Scandal Movie/Documentary on Netflix last night. This is the Lori Loughlin paying to get kids into certain colleges scheme. Really enjoyed it as I didnt really know all of the details.

Yours truly and The Trophy Wife signed up to be extras last summer for Yellowstone, and we might make it into Episode 1 of Season 4...a scene in an Indian Casino, where we were some of the extras.  Or we'll end up on the cutting room floor.  We shot the scene last August near Missoula.

Yellowstone, as you know, is set in Montana on a fictional "largest ranch in the state", somewhere south of Bozeman/Livingston.  Yes, they filmed most of the first three seasons in Utah, except for the ranch scenes.  The Chief Joseph Ranch (the main lodge and barns) is located just off US 93 just south of Darby, Montana...on the West Side and does have great views of the Bitterroot Mountain Range.  That whole area of Darby to Hamilton has been sorta taken over by the filming/production, and Missoula is building a major film / production facility, not necessarily related to this production, but certainly encouraged by it.

Montana had also passed a tax incentive program two years ago, so that certainly helped.  I heard recently that the ABC series "Big Sky" is moving their production to that new facility in Missoula.

Having gotten to know some of the production people, I was told that the Yellowstone producers are already working on Season 5 and they will probably tap out with Season 6.  They've signed leases for facilities through this year and I understand have options through 2022.

So yeah, there's more Yellowstone in your respective futures.
