Road field advantage
this is just from my observation this season and the games I have watched. It seems there is no longer a home field advantage without the crowds. Is it possible the road teams are more focused and dialed into their gameplan because of the travel and the extra gameplanning that a road game causes? I think it may be an advantage now the home teams are just playing thier game as though the crowd exists and the road teams are focused and better prepared and because of that winning.
I'd like to see the data this year vs previous seasons across the league.
But it sure seems like home-field advantage isnt the advantage it once was. Same in college ball too.
Death Valley is a pretty sad place these days, and not just because the Tigers sux.
