Teams are blitzing Cousins more
Expect to see more of it, but that's easily combatted with some swing passes out of the backfield to a dangerous Dalvin Cook.
Interesting nugget from Mike Zimmer. The Vikings noticed teams starting to blitz them more. They're trying to set the edges to keep Dalvin Cook from breaking outside for big gains.

"And then if it happens to be a pass," Zimmer said, "they’ve got extra rushers coming in there."
Tampa has the 3rd highest blitz % in the league. Giddy up boys and girls!

you mean they are doing to us exactly what they did to us when AD was here? No coaches ever seemed to get it figured out then I wonder if they have come up with an answer yet?@"PSBLAKE" said:
where are the hot routes in the vikings offense?
Ham in the flat for 6!
What is this hot route you speak of----we follow a fixed offensive plan that is dependent on our oline holding the line figuratively to establish a down field opportunity, but first we must run run run.
Cousins does well on rollouts and when he’s made the decision to run he has been pretty effective. Hopefully he’s channeling Case Keenum. We don’t have a line that can hold for 3 solid ticks and changing up his game by being mobile or with the rollouts buys him the time and he can pick teams apart that way. i have become impressed with this lately and I hope they keep rolling him out like that, but more consistently.
Do ya think part of the problem might be that we don't have a decent push by our d Line---hell if he barely sees any pressure in practice does he and our OC think the oline is doing better than reality dictates.
