Brailford
This is the first time that DE Jordan Brailford, who was picked up on waivers from Washington in October, has even been activated for the #Vikings. And he comes up with a big fumble recovery.

Was Sutherland on that line? I remember a year with White, Holloway, Mullaney and another, maybe Doug Martin, where all 4 of the starters were 1st round draft picks. Didn't play like 1st rounders though.

i remember watching yesterday and saying who the hell is #67? He actually had a pretty good game.

He was I believe the year before they drafted Doug Martin (who I liked a lot as a player)First rounder, out of Washington correct?
Remember his rook season? He played DE in a 3/4 with Charlie Johnson @ NT. I'll be not many Vikings fans remember we ever played a 3/4.

Oh yeah, I remember Martin well. He of the custom made helmet because his damn head was so big. It was the first draft I remember paying a lot of attention to. I guess because it was the first draft broadcast by ESPN.But I vaguely remember the year before, too. For whatever reason, I could watch re-broadcasts of Notre Dame games in Montana, and I remember focusing on Dave Huffman, the ND center we took in the 2nd round the year before. A few years later, I ended up meeting Huffman when the Vikings basketball team would tour around. They showed up at a 50s theme bar in Billings, Montana and he actually sat at my table for a bit.
That was the year we got Ted Brown in the 1st and Joe Senser in the 6th. Senser became my favorite player. He was on the cover of the first issue of Viking Report I got. Senser still ranks high among my all time Viking faves.
Draft has been an obsession of mine ever since.
Sad day when David Huffman died...That was fall of 98. Car crash that may have been alcohol related.

Yeah I remember that day well... I went to the Vikes game in Chicago a month earlier and Huffman and his family sat in my row. He was happy to have more Vikes fans sitting with him and chatted us up. Every time I had to walk past him to use the restroom, grab a beer etc, it was always some kind of joke and a high five. He seemed like such a nice guy.
