No Trade Mock Draft

Love the two DT picks. That's exactly who I would want to see the Vikes pick up.

The poor man's Aaron Donald and a true NT to back up Pierce...these are two guys I've mocked multiple times in TDN sims...

love this draft as far as the needs are concerned it is spot on.

I like the Paris Ford pick...dude is solid. OL in the first round is fine with me too. I'm probably outside of the norm here but I want another receiver picked up in the 3rd round as I'm just not sold on Bisi or Beebe and think this WR class is good again this year.

I've typically grabbed Ross in the 4th. Bit of a medical risk, but great upside.

You know, I was thinking about that last weekend. Chase, Waddle, Smith, Rondale, Bateman, etc. and those guys will go first 40 picks. As an Iowa fan, I wouldnt mind seeing the Vikes take a look at Ihmir Smith-Marsette in the 3/4 round. Good size, real quick, and with a better QB I think he would be putting up much bigger numbers

I think there might be a couple later rd. QB's that are intriguing. This could be it for Rudolph. Are we good with Smith and Conklin?Also not super comfy with our LBer depth.

Couple mocks I've done addressed LB and TE with guys like Snowden and McKitty. This one just didn't shake out that way. I'm going to guess we either won't have cap room to keep Wilson or they redo Rudy.

I think Wilson is more valuable than Rudolph at this point

Given his little production this year and his contract amount next year, you'd have to think this is the end of the road for Rudolph. I think Ridder from Cincinnati is an intriguing prospect that could be scooped up later. I dont watch very much of their games but he's quite mobile, good size, and seems to be a winner.

Probably not. He's probably a mix two, but he's been available in the TDN sims...Wilson and Barmore have also been available in the third, which see.s unlikely as well.

why I applaud the effort and do like some of your picks, I just don't see it.  Without a deep DT pool Twyman and Slayton will both probably go earlier.  I don't think Twyman gets past 60 or so.  You need some trades to make it more realistic for Vikings.

Visits thread... check when the QB will be drafted. Disappointed as there is no QB.

Unless we're selling the farm for a QB, which I don't see us doing, the Vikings could trade down from, say, 15 to 25, which is exactly worth that same pick in the 2nd round. Then use some of those middle round picks to upgrade that 2nd rounder. Too early to say, but it seems like the DT, OL and S value in this draft is in the late 1st and early 2nd.
