Steelers v Ravens >< To Being Cancelled?
The NFL cancelled the Ravens' Monday practice ahead of their Tuesday game against the Steelers. Baltimore hasn't practiced for nine days while they grapple with a full-blown COVID-19 outbreak. The team will be without offensive weapons Lamar Jackson, Mark Andrews, Mark Ingram, Willie Snead, and J.K. Dobbins on Tuesday against Pittsburgh. If the game is played -- and somehow, it appears it will be played -- Robert Griffin III will quarterback a largely second team offense against one of the NFL's best defenses. Yep, its starting to get dicey. I think you'll see more NFL players testing positive now with the cold weather and holidays here. The NFL cannot put forth another shit show like yesterday's Denver game.
Looks like they will play. No practice for over a week. That third rounder gets better
Ravens-Steelers is now scheduled to kick off at 3:40 pm Wednesday, per source.

if they cancel it does that kick in the 8tj playoff team?
Another ultimate 2020 note: the Ravens-Steelers game is kicking off Wednesday at 3:40 pm because NBC wanted and was committed to broadcasting the 88th Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting ceremony on Wednesday night, per sources. Tree lighting trumped football.

Can someone explain why the NFL has run around in circles to help out the Patriots and Ravens, two teams who obviously did not follow safety protocols, yet Denver was forced to play a game with a WR at QB and basically forfeit the game. Sure doesn't seem like all teams are playing by the same set of rules. What is going on with the Ravens right now is just a total joke and then on top of all of it, there game next week gets moved to Monday just in time for Jackson to be able to play.

They are going to help out the big names first because that's what they do.
Steelers Ravens has playoff implications. Nobody thought the broncos had a chance against the cheating lying aints so they just went ahead with that game so as not to screw up the aints schedule.
The Patriots had to play without Cam due to COVID so there wasn't help with that.
It's getting worse and worse. The NFL is now dancing on a knife edge trying to get these games in. To the point now where there will be a game played during my Wednesday team meeting. That will be weird.
I can't imagine it's going to improve much the last few weeks. NFL will be lucky to finish the year.
Honestly, I'm surprised we got this far without it turning into a shitshow.
They are going to do their damndest to get through the season. We'll see what happens.
My prediction was the season would be done on Thanksgiving, this may signal the end of the season. That Denver game, why? Put a fork and an asterisk in 2020.
I wonder if they shut it down for a period of 3-5 weeks and then try to resuscitate it?
If NFL can survive next 2 weeks, would you be surprised if they somehow got some dosages of the vaccine. Me personally would not surprise me one bit.
Very surprised they have not implemented a bubble, but hard with such large teams. I think it will happen for the playoffs...they won't want a Super Bowl with starting QBs held out.
TV money is driving most of this - the network paid the NFL for the Broncos game, regardless of who played QB.
The NFL Salary cap is frozen between 175 mil and 198 mil until 2023.
I wonder if the NFL and NFLPA will consider having nationally televised games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights as a way to recoup the lost salary cap funds.
Wrapping a Tuesday or Wednesday night game around and NFL team BYE in 2021 is one way they could do it.
Ravens called up TEN players from the PS to play today.
