This game came down to the two costly turnovers and a smoke and mirrors defense that just doesn't have the personnel to compete at a high level. No pressure on Dalton all game, poor gap discipline and poor tackling in the run game, and had no answer for the only pass play Dallas ran which was a slant pattern. Even if we could have made it to the playoffs, there is no chance this team could have fielded a competitive defense with all of the injuries we have suffered and inexperienced players we have.
Sitting here watching the GB-Colts game go to overtime and wondering why we could not do that. I know GB got Rodgers but still...
Dallas looked like a team in the first half that was rested. They were bringing the wood.
MVS made sure GB lost by fumbling which led to the Colts winning FG. Thanks MVS.
Of course Dallas is still playing for the division. Ugh that division is such a steaming pile.
