The Stormin' Mormon to start for the Saints
Saints’ QB Taysom Hill will start Sunday vs. the Falcons, per source. Hill took all the starter reps at practice this week. Jameis Winston will be the backup.

...and he's listed as a TE for fantasy on ESPN at least. Should provide plenty of TE points from the QB position.
This is very interesting to see Hill as a starting QB instead of a gadget/swiss player. I want to see him drop back 20-30 times and see if he is a starting QB.
He's done nothing to make me feel this way, but the way ESPN and Douchey Payton talk him up I want him to fail miserably. I know it's harsh, but the guy hasn't thrown a TD pass yet in his career but you'd think he's a multi year pro bowler they way he's talked about

hell I want him to do so good that they have a QB controversy in a couple weeks when Brees comes back and that causes their season to implode.
@"Hawkvike25" said:I agree with both of you guys. He is so hyped so I want to see how he does when he has to carry the load per se. Everyone loves a utility player but then if they have to start then we will see.@"StickyBun" said:Haha I swear every game I watch with them he gets like a 7 yard gain and Troy Aikman and Joe Buck are like "Sean Payton just knows how to use the horses in his stable"....cool, nice 7 yard game I guess?@"Hawkvike25" said: He's done nothing to make me feel this way, but the way ESPN and Douchey Payton talk him up I want him to fail miserably. The Saints reportedly were telling Teddy Bridgewater that Hill was their QB of the future so maybe that was serious.
It actually makes me think Jameis Winston is more damaged than people think.

No, that never happened. The Saints couldn't afford Teddy.

He's a bad-decision-making machine. That's all people need to know isn't it?
Looked not bad, a multi-threat at QB with Taysom. The guy is strong and confident, give him that much. I mean the guy is 30 years old already, but they could get 4-5 years out of him as he's been lightly used. I can only imagine he'll improve with playing time.

We'll see....maybe not...offenses are definitely moving in this direction. He's definitely a load running the ball.

Remains to be seen for sure. But he plays with confidence and he throws better than any TE I've seen. I don't know that there's a stronger QB in the NFL than Hill. He's going to be more of a winner type QB than a pure passer: seems to be the new trend. Won't also be the most accurate guy at times but he's got a nice arm and did alright in his debut. Quick release.

At the risk of sounding like an old codger, I've just seen it happen way too many times. Maybe this time will be different. Like I said, the NFL is sort of heading in that direction...and more and more coaches seem willing to roll the dice with it, so maybe this time will be different. But I don't see it. Not long term anyway.
