Cleveland might be out with ankle injury Sunday
Garrett Bradbury becoming a "fine leader" on the #Vikings offensive line, says OC Gary Kubiak, praising the second-year center's growth in making protection adjustments and cutting teeth vs top fronts like the Bears. Kubiak: "We gotta feel really good" about Bradbury's progress.

Bradbury has a fourth different right guard next to him in practices this week, and it's been both Brett Jones and Oli Udoh, says Kubiak. Jones is "champing at the bit" to play if Ezra Cleveland (ankle) can't go Sunday.

Right guard Ezra Cleveland was held out of Wednesday’s practice because of an ankle injury. The rookie played all 73 snaps during Monday night’s victory at Chicago. Veteran Brett Jones, recently re-signed to the active roster, took Cleveland’s place in practice.
Tight end Irv Smith Jr. returned to practice after being sidelined since a Nov. 8 groin injury. He was limited.
Cornerback Cameron Dantzler remains in the concussion protocol.
Dantzler, center Garrett Bradbury (shoulder) and Mata’afa (ankle) were also limited. Fullback C.J. Ham (noninjury) missed practice again.
Hope Ezra's injury doesn't keep him out too long. He was really looking good. Somewhat relieved that Jones will be taking his place instead of Samia (Covid still, I presume). It does kinda make you wonder if Elflein might have been the better option there.
Call me crazy, but I'd rather see Udoh than Jones in there. We seem to be running more power lately.

I like Jones but we know what we have with him. We have seen flashes from Big Oli and I want to see more. He's got such size and strength, he needs reps on the field. He could be the missing piece on this line.

Anytime I hear injury on this team this year I expect the worse. Wonder if there is an organization ethos to not play through injury this year, use this time to get some looks at others.
I think Jones is a lock to replace Cleveland in the lineup. I'm guessing Udoh is still learning and making assignment mistakes, hence him being inactive almost every week. He's raw.
