Thielen passed Jake Reed
That's really cool. Reed was a good receiver who got overshadowed by Carter and then Moss. Moss was considered a luxury pick, because already had Carter and Reed. He's also a really active Vikings fan and alumni and did a lot for Orlando Thomas.
Randy is the poster child for never drafting for need, as much as Ponder was.
Reed was cool as part of 3 deep, but Thielen is a hell of a lot more receiver than Reed ever was.
That TD catch last night? That's some crazy s hit right there.
Reed was and still is a class act. One of my all time favorites.
Congrats to AT for dominating the NFL from a humble start.
on a side note....when was the last time you saw AT drop three straight passes like he did Monday night? I was starting to wonder if he was playing through an injury the way he was trying to body catch.
