Packer week!!
SO who is excited about Packer week!!)))) Unreal, usually these two games get me the most excited to watch. Doesn't really feel like much this year. Maybe by the end of the week it will be all Purple rainbows and lollipops. PA no doubt will have the Vikings winning). The last 3 games have been bad though after a nice run before that. Oh well, party on.
Vikings win in a rout.
we will win and screw up our draft status.
I hope we can keep the game close...
Inconsistent offense
Inconsistent/questionable pass rush
Inconsistent line play (offense and defense)
Which Kirk will show up
Banged up secondary with very limited experience
:#
Packers are a +7
I'm taking the Vikings and the points...Stoopid me.
Seems like it wasn't too long ago the Vikings/Packer series was about 50/50 over the decades.
Now I see its 43/34 GB...Not good.

Wait...I tell you to take the Vikings +7 against the Seahawks and you call me crazy, but you're taking them against the Packers? B)
This one has a factor that the previous games didn't. Tanking. I don't know what that looks like. I don't know that I've even seen it before, but whatever it is I think we're going to see it on Sunday.

I don't know who gets pressure on Rodgers so i'm going to buy down the spread to GB -6.5 and bet on that. Easy bet is ML -300 or something, but odds don't generate a good enough return.
It's after a bye week. They will come out flat. Cousins will throw at least 2 interceptions, possibly a pick 6. I think Jefferson will have a good game. Hopefully Dalvin will be healthy but we'll see.
We have them where we want them, they are setup for a trap game. I mean the analytics of 1) Zim team out of a bye, 2) history of performance in big games, 3) recent success against the Pack, and not sure what ref. crew will be there but it won't matter they are all the same. Feeling good about our chances.
This is the game I want to win, I could handle losing the rest except maybe the bears at home.
Theres still a part of me that believes this team can win 7 or 8 games if everything falls into place.
brings up a good question- if our rookies and some other young players, Odenigbo, SmithJr, and Cousins all get hot and we go on a winning streak would you be dissapointed or excited?
Just looked up Zimmer's record after the bye and it's 2-4, yikes

you're just saying that to be mean.

Yeah that would be the worst case scenario in my opinion. Would love to see our younger players stepping up, but not enough to win games. Definitely done with Cousins.
Our secondary is banged up and we just traded our best pass rusher... only way we keep it close is if Cook goes off.

...and Cousins doesn't stand back in the pocket with that "Deer in the Headlights" look and actually performs like a NFL quarterback...

Over how many seasons?

You've watched enough Norris football to know this is a big trap game for GB...Toss the records out the window.Nah, probably not lol!
And the Vikings have never beaten Russell Wilson - that was an easy one to call.
Hope the officials have a running clock
Two things I'm looking for in this game:
#1. Cook does better than 12 carries for 5o Yards.
#2. Wonnam gets a bigger role and... get his 2nd sack of the season. Odenigbo also gets a sack and steps up to take on that sack leader ship role.
Improvement starts up front on both sides of the ball. Just a little sign of improvement from the first Packer game is all I ask.
Can the Vikings hold them under 43 points this time?
