Predictions for the season
Wow...tough to say. I'm going to say 6-10. I think the young guys show substantial improvement over the course of the year, but with all the injuries it's going to be tough to be any better than that.
That's too good for a new qb. I am thinking it's going to be close to your numbers.
They'll win just enough to NOT draft a QB. Take that to the bank. Its written in the Viking prophecy.

I'm in the 4-5 win camp if they keep playing like they have. Loose a few more key players? That 4 wins looks like a smarter guess.
If they play the rest of the games like Tennessee, they could win 8 and lose 4, making them .500, but I suspect they won't without Hunter, Barr, Hughes and Dantzler. I think 7-9 is the best we can hope for, 6-10 more likely. That's how big a hole 0-3 is. Vikings have to win twice as many as they lose just to finish .500.
Worse, as mentioned, we'll likely win just enough to take us out of the QB race--somewhere around 12. Ponder that.
4-12.
There's pool of about 10 Vikings starters, if one of them miss games due to injury or Virus then it's 3-13 1984 Les Steckel or worse.
If I eat crow, . Extra Crispy with lots of Ranch Dressing.

Hilarious...not.
But I think you are right. I've said 6-10 since seeing their improved play against Tennessee. Zimmer always pads his record with bad teams, and this year it's hard to see which ones are bad but I'm sure there are 5-6 somewhere in this schedule. With 4 wins or less, coaches and GMs lose jobs, but finish better than that and we're sticking with Cousins for another couple years, so...whatever, right?
OTOH, much as we all fear the acceptance of continued mediocrity, Zygi Wilf is 70. If he wants to win a SB in his lifetime, do you think he wants to give Spielman another decade, or let someone else try now??
I think 2-14, in all honesty I would be fine with 0-16 if we get Trevor Lawrence
We'll have a worst case scenario at 6-10 or 7-9. We're gonna settle into just enough of a rhythm to win meaningless games and fuck our draft spot up.
And this is assuming the season makes it through January, which I can't see happening. At least not how it is currently. They'll complete it, but it'll be a hybrid of a season.

Sure anything is possible, but I don't see 6 wins out of em. I envision 1 division win this season. Bears and Packers are better teams than MN and we will probably split with the Kitties.
That said, I did find it fun today watching Cook and Jefferson, KC can drop some dimes.
For the guys @ Eagan working so hard? I guess they got a reward today for their efforts.
I think after the Seattle game, those 7-9 predictions will go back down to 4 or 5, lol. Eeked out a win against a winless team that was a mouse whisker away from possibly going into overtime. Not sure I'd be planting my flag on this game as a reason they will win 8.
