He's already drawing attention away from Thielen and it will be interesting to see how he does once teams start playing him now that he's having more success, but I think with his route running, body control, & hands he should continue to be productive. I'm also curious to see if he'll emerge as a red zone threat. We were fortunate to find another good receiver, I'd just like to see some of the other receiving options on the team start stepping up now that Thielen and Jefferson are doing well.
He looks REALLY good. Yes, I think WR1 is definitely his future. For a rookie in his 3rd and 4th game, to have back to back 100 yard games, and look good doing it, in a season without a training camp, a year when he himself missed time in quarantine, at a position that typically takes a couple of years....yeah, this is damn encouraging. Even premier receivers like Julio Jones and Deandre Hopkins didn't look this good this early.

He's money already. Gets open and when he's not, he goes and gets the ball. Swagger. Natural hands. Its like having a veteran out there.

After these last two weeks you have to wonder why the coaching staff thought Bisi was better? Jefferson is already a very good receiver and I think he becomes a better player than Diggs. Also, it's nice that Kirk is starting to trust him more...outside of the one throw 20-25 yards down field where he chose not to toss it his way. The offense is clicking but that defense is still really bad

Who's this Diggs you speak of?  JJ is the new sherriff in town.  B)

For a 21 year old too. That back shoulder catch was a peach...

SEC preps these kids no doubt

In a year without much happy re:football? Its nice to see some of these young players doing real well. Gives you hope for 21.

JJ looks awesome! Wow what a talent. Hopefully he'll show some consistency the rest of the way. I think he will! Sky is the limit as far as his potential goes.
Yesterday Cousins threw deep down the sideline to Bisi and there's not a doubt in my mind that either Thielen or JJ would have caught the ball. Bisi tried to kinda one hand it and just couldn't make the play. Just further underscores how important Jefferson's emergence is.

If JJ keeps this up I might have to learn the Griddy! (Ok maybe not ha)

One of the things I really like about Jefferson is that he already is a very "complete" WR - and I mean that especially in contrast with some other former Viking WRs that had initial flashes but were really one-trick ponies. Cordarelle Patterson and even Percy Harvin didn't have a full route tree or the skills to play anywhere but in the slot, and had to have special plays like bubble screensto help them produce. Vikings have had other WRs like Mike Wallace who were great on deep fly routes but not in the middle of the field. Laquon Treadwell could only...well, never mind, he was a no-trick pony.

Man, I loved Harvin the player, a great weapon...Pants on the ground

We're going to be watching a monster WR for Seattle this week and that could get real ugly vs Zimmer's baby DB's.

D.K. Metcalf and Lockett is no slouch either.
