Ha! I have to admit that I loved Sam Bradford. That season opener against the Saints... he was fire. He was so accurate and quick. It's just too bad he only had one knee.

I really thought he might be a recovery story like Jim Plunkett, but I think when Plunkett played the Raiders could surround him with a wall of huge linemen and protect him. But an immobile QB can't survive with today's pass rushers.
Love the OP, can we extend back further in the Vikings' inglorious QB history?

  • Favre: the wife of your rival who you dreamed about for years and finally had a hot but destructive fling
  • McNabb: the girl you wanted since high school but weighed 300 pounds when you reconnected after you both divorced

That was definitely something to behold. That New Orleans game ranks up there with some of the best Viking QB performances ever. If he had stayed healthy, imagine what that season might've looked like. Imagine how that would've changed the future.
