Elflein now on IR

Damn...It will be interesting (and telling) to see who they replace him with. Best case scenario: Samia takes over the starting job and never gives it up.

Yesssss......

Dakota Dozier has starting experience at right guard. I wouldn't mind seeing him move back to right guard and give Ezra Cleveland the starting left guard spot. Probably just a matter of time before Samia then takes the right guard spot from Dozier. I think it might be time to let our young guys develop.

So the Elf has been put on the shelf, so to speak. 

Finally some good news.

Most in Minnesota media are assuming it's Samia. But who knows with the Vikings. They could go any number of ways. Move Dozier to the right, start Collins at LG. Could be Cleveland, though I really doubt he's ready. They could even sign Josh Kline but that seems unlikely considering Elflein may only be down for 3 games. 

I hope it's Samia. He's probably an improvement on Elflein in pass pro, but a downgrade in run blocking. 

I dont think Cleveland is ready.

And Samia? I dont know what to think about that guy right now, I think the coaches may echo that sentiment.

I'd put my $ on Dozier @ RG and Collins @ Left as MB points out.
