The word is he's a demon on special teams. The staff found a way to keep him because of that and hope he can progress as a WR. Very interesting. But having said that, 7 WRs?? Nope. Only 2 safeties. This roster isn't set yet.
Keeping Chisena as a gunner signals to me that the coaching staff thinks this team has real potential this year. When you are keeping a special team specialist (two if you include Osborn) is something that teams do when they have true aspirations.

Austin Cutting, WTF is that! How much competition will it take to replace him, suppose he is still on his rookie contract, but if I am to have any faith in this FO and Brezinski this will need to be restructured next year!

Well, there were 2 6th rounders and 4 seventh rounders. Willekes as of now is the only one who stuck around and he is on IR. Maybe a few will end up on practice squad

No. All 9 of the 1st>5th rounders made it, all 6 6+7 round picks all got cut. Made me wonder how much the lack of OTAs+minicamps+preseason games cost those lower picks chances to learn the schemes and impress the coaches.

Excellent point...
4 of the 6 (Brandel and Metellus 6th round, Stanley and Hinton 7th round) went to the practice squad.
Shows how much Ive not been following the team this year. A bunch of the lower tier guys Ive never heard of
